Blessings of the Muse Spell
Creative expression can be different things for different people. Drawing, painting, writing, creating herbal self-care products, playing music, weaving, the list goes on and on. This spell help crank up your muse and wake up and clear your blocked creativity.

As always read any new spell through first.

You Will Need:
*At least one brick of Sculpey Crafty & Oven Bake Clay(any color)
*A yellow pillar candle
*Ground cinnamon-to promote your spell
*A fireproof bowl to burn your candle.

Choose your oil or oil for dressingbyour candle...
*orange essential oil-orange representing creativity
* lavender essential oil- nurtures creativity and self-expression.
* pepermint- focus

You can use as many of the following herbs as you want. The more herbs you use...the stronger the spell will be. Select any of the herbs below:
*Rosemary-is a wonderful support to creative practices
*Mugwort-can help to open up your third eye and increase creativity.
*Chamomile-give you focus and clear your mind
*Calamus- assists with creative expression.
*Saffron- is wonderful for when you’re feeling numb or uninspired.
*Rose- reminds us that the practice of creation is the therapeutic part, not the finished product.
*cacao- evokes heightened senses, while also being energizing.

The Spell Work

1. First cleanse your candle and your other supplies.
You can use the smoke of your favorite incense or a smudge stick.

2. Now, you'll dress your candle.
Since you want to BRING something new into your life, rub your essential oil/oils from the top and bottom of the candle to the middle of your candle.

Leave a thick enough coating of oil all the way around your candle so that your herb/herbs will stick in the next step. While you are dressing with the oil say,

Chant
"Let my Muse speak through my hands,
Tie my muse to me with ethereal bands.
Let my mind flourish so creativity is freed.
This I desire, let this be."

Next, rub your dried herbs in your hands. This will make them smaller and they will stick to your candle better.

3. Now, If you are using multiple herbs, mix them together.

4. When they are well mixed, sprinkle them all over your candle or you can roll your dressed candle in your herb or herbs.

5. Now, set your candle in your fireproof bowl and light your candle.
Say,
Chant
"Muse I feel you dancing round the room.
Do come now with your creative boon.
Please fill my mind with your creative spark
Let my creativity express your artistic mark!
Be a part of me!"

6. Now open your Sculpey Crafty & Oven Bake Clay and create something. Create whatever flows out of you.

My spirit animals usually pour from my hands.

7. When you are finished with your creation. Tell the Muse thank you.
Chant,
"You've opened my mind and let creativity flow,
Thank you for your gift, you are free to go.

My heart and mind now direct my hands.
Now I sever the ethereal bands !"

Let your candle burn until bedtime. Light it anytime you need some inspiration.

Remember candle etiquette and never leave your burning candle unattended. I often sit burning candles in my kitchen sink to burn.
