To support my Paranormal team and my Native American friends back on the Rez, I have a collection of handcrafted prayer feathers, medicine bags, dream catchers, medicine wheels, talking sticks, and Navajo Ghost Bead necklaces made by some of the most skilled and reputable Navajo artisans, which I order from Arizona as I get in orders. In other words, I don’t keep inventory on hand here, the inventory is located at the Katchina House in Arizona, and I have it shipped out when I receive an order, or am a vendor at an event in order to not have an inventory on hand here in Mississippi.

I also handcraft Kewa inspired heishi jewelry, Hopi inspired beaded jewelry for spiritual protection, and medicine bundles, although I don’t have a website or online shop, because I make these items strictly by commission (I don’t agree with Mississippi’s tax code concerning taxation of unrealized gains by taxation of inventory which is in stock whether you sell it or not; I mean they also charge a sales tax too) being that I provide my investigations pro bono, and I have to generate some sort of revenue in order to provide my services at no charge to my clients, paying taxes on items which I don’t sell frequently or in quantity would mean everything I sell would end up being a financial loss rather than a financial gain. 🤷‍♀️ Make it make sense 🤷‍♀️
